“Color is emotion - not many would argue with that.” Susan Carlson - Fabric Collage Quilter The greatest gift from being a painter is seeing the world through a painters eyes. I can only hope to recreate the joy I feel form the astounding surroundings we are so privileged to enjoy here in Colorado through my paintings. Color is key to my world and to my work. I approach each piece as a grand puzzle of both color and design. I work predominantly in water media, most recently in acrylics. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts after attending Boston University School of Fine Arts and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I have been greatly influenced by my studies under Stephen Quiller and the many locales I have lived, including Hawaii.
