I work primarily as a printmaker and painter in a variety of media from oils, acrylics, encaustic, mixed media, printmaking of all types to teaching computer classes. My work typically has a strong narrative content and social commentary. It can be whimsical, but typically references magical thinking. My first job, at 14, was in a pottery studio, pouring molds, so I suppose the pleasure of patterning has been with me for a while! I grew up in San Diego, traveled quite a bit in the 60’s, married Joe Ghiglia in Steamboat (1973), raised our kids in Colorado and San Luis Obispo, CA. We returned home in 2012 and are busy re-engaging with friends old and new in Steamboat Springs, CO.
